BajoFondo Tango Club

A pioneer of the Alternative Latin style, Gustavo Santaolalla has produced some of the genre’s most original and successful artists including Café Tacuba, Maldita Vecindad, Caifanes, Julieta Venegas, Los Prisioneros, and León Gieco. Comprised of Gustavo Santaolalla and Juan Campodónico amongst others, The BajoFondo Tango Club is a group that combines electronic music styles such as house, trance, dub, and drum‘n’bass, with the classic sounds of tango. The end result is music that represents the contemporary sound and urban lifestyle of Rio De La Plata.
