DJ Patife

Wagner Ribeiro de Souza, known as DJ Patife, was born on September 15th, 1976, and since his early years has fallen in love with music and entered this universe through DJ culture.

At the age of 11 he started working at a pizza delivery in São Paulo’s south side, then as an office-boy until he became a salesman at a record shop.

He started his musical career playing at small birthday parties in garages, clubs and other minor places.

With only 15 years of age he became Dj of the Rap group “Fatos Reais” and this is when his history started, with a lot o passion for music and faith in God and his ideals.

Along his career, Patife always respected and prized the electronic music and Dj precursors; these people are the ones he finds inspiration on and feels great admiration for.

As years passed, Patife made contacts, met people and formed a big team, which made his work to be acknowledged by the whole world, giving him the possibility to release his first album. Since then, a lot of projects became to happen: projects with other musicians, musical production work, shows, among others.
