M-Audio Artists

Emilio Kauderer

Emilio Kauderer collaborated recently with Stewart Copeland in composing a song for the upcoming "Stomp" album and the soundtrack for "Spyro," a game on Sony’s Playstation 2.

"Ive used Reason and Ableton Live to compose phrases and loops for both projects. I locked these programs to MOTUs Digital Performer and it worked marvels. In the song for Stomp, I included a string quartet loop from the Reasons String Refill Collection. It sounds realistic and organic and it enhanced the project to make it sound big.

"Im currently mixing a project with the Studiophile SP-5B with the SP-8S subwoofer for the Bajo Fondo Tango Club project, recently released by Universal Records and produced by Gustavo Santaolalla (Juanes, Divididos, Amores Perros). These speakers are great and cover the entire range that I need for my electronica sound. Im very greatful for the M-Audio support team, they make me feel that I can always count on them. Thank you. M-Audio is great."

Emilio was honored by the Sundance Institute with a fellowship to the Composer’s Lab (2001), and selected to compose the music for New York’s Museum of Tolerance main exhibit piece as well as the computer programming of the Opening Music for the Winter Olympics 2002 composed by Michael Kamen.

Emilio Kauderer composed the music score for "The Patriots," (winner, San Diego Film Festival 2002), "Friends & Lovers" with Robert Downey Jr. and Stephen Baldwin, and "A Place in the World," 1993 Oscar Nominee for Best Foreign Film.

Emilio’s music has been featured on several episodes of "Life With Bonnie," "Resurrection Boulevard," and "Dead Like Me," among other television series.

His recording Maromas can be heard currently on KCRW and is part of an electronica project, "Bajo Fondo Tango Club," produced by Gustavo Santaolalla which was recently released by Universal Records.

Emilio’s classical work includes his First Symphony, which was featured by the National Symphony of Argentina, and the Honduras National Symphony this past summer and received enthusiastic reviews.

Emilio composed the music for the videos for Ricky Martin’s "Livin la Vida Loca" tour (2000) and collaborated with Jon Secada, Thalia and Hot Karl in other projects.

Emilio still receives accolades for his Latino musical "Paquitos Christmas," which appeared at the Washington Opera and the Pasadena Civic Center in Los Angeles, featuring Placido Domingo’s grandson, Dominic. "Paquito" was featured for the ninth year at the Pasadena Civic Center for the 2002 holiday season.
